Young at Heart
Young at Heart is a ministry for the people of Calvary Bible Church who are near retirement and beyond, but understand the importance of remaining active in ministry and relationships. With a priority upon service projects and relationship events, there are activities throughout the year.
The service opportunities include helping with the monthly Channels mailings, visitation to shut-ins, helping with administrative needs in the office, caring for the church lawn and shrubs, Christmas basket deliveries and the Angel Tree ministry. A committee within the group plans monthly day trips to points of interest and of course, good places to eat! Perhaps you have a place you’d like to suggest we try.
With such a range of fellowship opportunities, we are sure you’ll make new friends and find the activities both enjoyable and spiritually enriching. We hope to see you at a Young at Heart event in the near future!

Potluck & Shut-in Visitation
On September 18, we are meeting in the Reception Rooms at the Drake Campus for a potluck luncheon. Afterward, those who want to visit shut-ins will receive names and directions. (Read More)
